Finished in black over matching vinyl upholstery and is powered by a replacement 302ci V8 with a .030? overbore and paired with a four-speed manual transmission, removable hardtop, a reinforced frame, a welded-in roll bar, American Racing 15? alloy wheels, Hoosier Comanche racing tires, lowered suspension, drum brakes, an ATL fuel cell, and fixed-back racing seats with Simpson five-point harnesses. Work included installing a Comp Cams camshaft, an MSD Digital 6AL ignition control unit and Blaster 2 coil, and a Summit Racing intake manifold and 600-cfm carburetor along with replacing the lifters, rocker arms, pushrods, thermostat, and spark plugs.
